Everything you do today will involve a conversation.
Think about that.
As human beings we live inside of conversations all day long. Some of these conversations are empowering and some are dis-empowering -so what is it that makes one occur one way versus the other way?
Empowering conversations move action forward while dis-empowering conversations stop action. When you come away from speaking with someone or listening to someone and feel like there is no action you can immediately take this will occur as dis-empowering. Even if the conversation's about gossip -there is nothing you can do about gossip -it's just there and what it accomplishes is to take up energy and space without any real purpose or lasting result.
I'm not suggesting that we have to take action from every conversation we have -that would be ridiculous. What I am suggesting is that we analyze our conversations -especially if we find ourselves in a rut or in some sort of foggy paradigm.
Ask ourselves the question, "Is this conversation I'm having right now, is it going to produce in my life the results I say I want to create?"
Because if it's not producing any worthwhile results then why not just stop the conversation? Or change the conversation?
It is important to know that we ARE NOT the conversations we have become. We are not static but dynamic in our conversations. If you want to change your life or change your world or THE world than change your conversations! It's as easy and difficult as that!
