Are you stressed out because there is not enough time in your day? Do you get like that sometimes? Often? I do.
I found out that we have to set limits to be effective.
It's like the Japanese haiku. The rules of the haiku is that is has to be 17 syllables written in 3 lines (five syllables, then seven, then five). The poet must work within those limitations.
When I limit myself in areas where there is too much to do I create a powerful result in those areas.
For example, if your email is out of control then set a limitation that you will only check email 2x per day and only answer 5 emails each time. This will force you to write better emails and choose the most important ones rather than going on and on and on wasting time.
Creating limitations is also like playing a game so it becomes fun!
It is the only way to really become effective.
