When we make money the central focus of our quest and our aim we muddy the waters of passion, purpose, and power in our business. The WHY becomes unfocused and unclear.
What we need to do is to spend some time contemplating and considering our why. Our why is the reason we exist. The reason we went through the challenges and all of the ups and downs we endured to get to where we are.
Never underestimate your WHY.
Every single business that ceased to exist lost track of their why. That is their common denominator. Not some of them but EVERY single one of them. The WHY is THAT powerful and needs to be respected.
When you lose site of your why -your reason for building your business and the purpose of why you serve humanity -you will start to get stressed out and lose your sense of humour. No humour means you have no vision. No why. No purpose.
It only takes a few minutes to get back to it but you must make time to really focus on your why.
If you want to know what I'm talking about go and watch the movie "Man On Wire" and see someone who had a very strong WHY and what they did about it. After you watch it ask yourself this question...
"What is my twin tower dream?"
That is your purpose. Your why in life.
Go for it!
