B-Alert

Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen, & Les Hewitt write in their book "The Power Of Focus" a really great system for creating optimum balance in your life. It can be remembered by the following acronym: B-ALERT. Here is what it stands for...

B - Blueprint: Create a strategic plan for your day. Priorities, appointments, and projects. Review this the evening before or early morning.

A - Action: Concentrate on the MOST IMPORTANT activities that will move you towards accomplishing your 60-day goals.

L - Learning: Expand your knowledge through reading, video, audio, mentors, or courses.

E - Exercise: Re-energize for 30 minutes.

R - Relaxation: Eliminate daily stress. Nap, meditate, listen to music, family time.

T - Think: Take time to reflect on the day. Review goals, visualize, develop new ideas, use a journal, or blog.

Track your progress every week. Set up your own simple recording chart. At the end of the day take a moment to record your score. Pay attention to any area that you miss.
