My friend Saul Rothbart told me yesterday that "God is in the details."
Details are powerful. Especially when you are telling a story about what you do.
I worked with a printer and increased their profitability by 40% in 12 months as well as a 30% increase in net revenue. THAT is about detail. Without the detail you don't have power. Most people say something platitudish like "We give the best service," or "Our clients highly recommend us." etc... These are weak conversations built from fear and doubt.
Details create confidence and trust with the person on the listening end. Trust is essential for doing business.
Keep thinking about "how can I bring details to this?" and you will. Make sure you include RELEVANT details and not just ANY details as well!
Bring details to the conversation and you create trust. Trust is always created!
