Re-Invention Is The Key...

There's a story in the Old Testament of the bible (2 Kings Ch. 21-23) about an amazing leader named Josiah. He was made king of Israel when he was only eight years old. The amazing thing about him is how he did a re-organization of Israel such like was never done in the history of that country.

What did it take to re-invent Israel? It took taking a stand for what he believed was the right way to go about living life. After Josiah read the "book of the law" and realized that the way they [Israel] were living was not working and in disobedience to their original agreement with God he re-invented HIMSELF first and then his country.

This is how you save a company. You must first find out what you were originally committed to in life. WHY was this company even invented? What's it's purpose on this earth.

Then re-invent yourself. Make that commitment NEW again in your listening.

After that move, you call the elders (Sr. Management) together and declare the new direction -the new future. Then call an All Company Meeting and declare it to every person in the organization.

Next steps (from Israel's past CEO Josiah) is to go through each and every department and realign it to support the vision. The reason for why you exist.

Who knew that business advice was so readily available from the bible?!
