Life Is A Mirror

We really don't see life as it is -we see it as WE are!

I'm always amazed at this concept because I (like most of us) fall into the paradigm that life happens "out there" somewhere and that I'm somehow a passive observer that wants to have "out there" change. That never works because the reality is that life happens "in here." It is our personal experience that gives us the meaning and interpretation about life -not life that gives us our meaning and interpretation of our personal experience.

My friend Tony sent this to me this morning...

Those who are needy of attention, hide from themselves their greatness.

Those who are needy of opportunity, hide from themselves their power to create.

And those who are needy of love, hide from themselves what's already there.

So... taking this view on... how is life occurring for you? Get this: The answer to that question reveals some of the choices you made in your thinking that has life occurring to you that way. YOU are occurring to YOU that way -not life!
