Stay Hungry

The way to stay really hungry is to continually invent powerful new futures. Futures that cause you to take action NOW in order to have them fulfilled. Easy to write but now so easy to implement.

In the hustle and bustle of everyday demands we sometimes get lost in our mission. It is useful to really focus on our mission to make sure we are taking an action each day towards it.

Someone told me years ago the power of being "hungry." It is a state of mind that one adopts to take hold of a future that is rightfully theirs. Only because they said so.

This is a powerful concept -this being hungry. When we are hungry we will endure, do, and work through just about anything just to satisfy it. Being hungry without morals or ethics is a recipe for disaster. If you want your life to NOT work then throw away your principles just to satisfy your hunger. It never works.

This hunger I'm talking about is a lot like passion or purpose. You hunger to have it realized. To have it actually take place in this world.

There are two ways to operate in this kind of hunger...

1. Ask yourself, "What would be worth giving my life to?" Then live inside of that inquiry until you get an answer that keeps you up at night. Something that is so purposeful and full of life that it causes your heart to pump and your blood to flow!

2. Keep taking actions to fulfill this hunger -no matter what happens. There is always a way if you do not give up. Always.

Gandhi reminds me of this. He was hungry to see the British walk out of India and he kept taking actions and moving towards this. To him it was a certainty.

Stay hungry.
