What are you grateful for?
My friend Tony wakes up in the morning and talks to himself about at least 10 things he's grateful for every day.
It is a proven fact that gratefulness creates happiness and amazing things to happen in people's lives.
Focusing on what we have instead of what we don't have really works.
It's called sufficiency. I want to operate in sufficiency NOT abundance. Abundance is actually another form of scarcity. People want (or say they want) abundance so they never have to worry about lack. This mentality comes from the very thought that there is lack in the first place.
What if there was no such thing as lack. What if you could just operate inside of the paradigm of sufficiency? That there actually is enough! That YOU are enough. That you actually have enough money right now. That everything is exactly how it should be!
Some people say to me "but I want to be able to give money to this certain charity. That is why I want abundance." But if you had an amount in your heart that you wanted to give then wouldn't having that amount along with everything else you need be sufficient? Any more would be waste.
Lynn Twist talks about sufficiency in her book "The Soul Of Money." I recommend it highly!
